Enhancements to Our 2018 Software

As you’re preparing and planning for tax season, you may be interested in what enhancements have been rolled out in the 2018 version of TaxAct^® Professional. Here’s a high level overview on what we’ve been working on for tax year 2018 so far:

• UltraTax CS 1040 PDF import
• Side-by-side comparison view of prior year and current year returns for any form type
• Client Information worksheets available within forms tree in the return
• Federal EF Status to include Amended return information for business returns
• An improved software sign-in experience
• Pennsylvania 1040 local return
• Ohio generic city return
• E-file is being added for:
  • South Carolina 1065
  • Kentucky 1040 amended returns
  • Michigan 1041
  • Oregon 1065
  • Virginia 1041

Many of these enhancements are a result of our fine-tuning the product road map based on customer survey results and in-product feedback. We look forward to helping your practice succeed in tax year 2018!
