When setting up your TaxAct Professional account, please make sure to provide the proper information: first and last name, full mailing address, e-mail address, mobile phone number and answers to security questions. If you received an invitation from another preparer, your name and address may be missing from the account. You can add or update this in your account by logging in at TaxAct.com and clicking the My Info tile.

Please note that all professional preparers should have separate accounts with this information, even if you belong to the same practice. TaxAct uses all this information to identify, confirm & verify your account and to authorize access. These processes are in place for your security and can also help with any disputes over practices.
