As we approach the end of the year, we want to remind you of an important update regarding e-filing business returns.

On December 26, the IRS will stop accepting e-filed business returns. During this period, e-files will not be processed until the IRS reopens its e-filing system in January.

TaxAct will stop accepting E-Files at 10 am (CST) to ensure we are able to send and process all received returns prior to the IRS shutdown beginning at 11:59 am (ET).

To ensure timely processing of your business returns, please plan accordingly and submit any pending e-filed returns before the deadline. We recommend completing and reviewing your submissions in advance to avoid any potential delays.
